BUS 374 W03 Reflection

This week was learning about case analysis and root cause analysis. I learned how these things will be valuable tools later in my career.

With the root case analysis, the lesson is to get to the root cause by asking the "5 Why's". You start with asking an important question of why the issue is there in the first place. Then you assemble a team of experts from their fields on helping you break down why is the issue is a problem. You continue to ask the next two "Why's" until the problem has been fully explored. Afterwards, you are left with the root cause of the problem.

I have learned with case analysis that it is important to weigh both sides of the issue before giving advice and to have an open mind but still be cautious.
